Position Opening – 2 Positions

Light Equipment Operator for District 1-Murray
Light Equipment Operator for District 2-Smelterville

Shoshone County is currently accepting applications for the position of Light Equipment Operator for District 1, and for Light Equipment Operator for District 2.  This position will be based out of our Murray Shop.  Equipment Operator performs a wide variety of duties, including construction and maintenance on all County roads and bridges including asphalt patching, crack sealing, seal coating, road buildup, shouldering, ditching, culvert installation, and other duties as necessary.  May include long hours of operation in inclement weather and hazardous conditions. 

Applicant must possess the following: Class A CDL, High School diploma or equivalent, and two years of experience in the safe operation and maintenance of light and medium equipment.  Pass a pre-employment drug test.  This is a full-time position with benefits that include medical, dental, vision and retirement.
