Deputy Clerk – Court Records
Position Opening
Shoshone County is accepting applications for Deputy Clerk – Court Records. Primary function of the Court Records Deputy Clerk is to process court related documents for the First Judicial District in Idaho. The primary responsibility is to open and process cases, accepting and receipting fees and payments, scheduling court dates, and preparing legal documents and court and judicial orders. This includes but is not limited to Citations, Infractions, Misdemeanors, Felony, Criminal, Civil and Juvenile cases that are filed in Magistrate and District Courts.
This position may back up the Jury Commissioner as needed and will be required to work closely with other Court Deputy Clerks to ensure all aspects of the jobs are completed according to Idaho Statues.
Applicant must have the following skills: High School diploma or equivalent, two years Legal Assistant experience processing court documents and reports, reconciliation of payments collected. Pass a pre-employment drug test. A job description is available below. Hourly $14.17 – $16.24 DOE. Full time position with benefits that include medical, dental, vision, and retirement.

Custodian/Housekeeper
Position Opening – Full-Time
Duties include a variety of custodial duties including cleaning of the Shoshone County Courthouse. Salary is $8.15 – $10.14 per hour – 20 hours per week (DOE) with full benefit package that includes medical, dental, vision, and retirement. Hours of work – 5:00pm to 10:00pm Monday through Thursday. Must pass a background check.

Elections/Recorder’s Office Deputy Clerk
Position Opening
Shoshone County is accepting applications for Elections/Recorder’s Office Deputy Clerk.
This Position must perform all the duties of the Recorder’s Office Deputy Clerk and as an additional responsibility, will be responsible for performing all the duties required to run Elections held in Shoshone County.
Duties include: Voter Registration, coordinating with all taxing districts, manage declaration of candidacy, validate voter registration and district associations, prepare ballots, publicize election information, manage voting equipment, provide volunteer election training, manage the distribution, collection and counting of all ballots, report all election results, all in accordance to Idaho Statues.
Applicants must have the following skills: High School diploma or equivalent, demonstrate strong office organization and planning skills, ability to work under tight time constraints, adjust schedule to accommodate election day staffing, knowledge of the election processes.
